The Maroochydore In 1873, Sydney’s Maroochyydore was built for the Melbourne City Railway.
It would later become the world’s tallest building, and was named the tallest building in the world after being built on top of a huge hill in the centre of the city.

The Strathfield Hotel In 1893, Sydney had its first hotel, The Strathsfield Hotel.
Today you can find the hotel across the street from the iconic St Andrews Hospital.
The Harbour Walk The Harbourwalk, Sydney Harbour and Southbank was opened to pedestrians in 1908.
